The trek to Khopra Danda is off the beaten trip yet you can find small teahouses all along the trail. However, at Khopra Danda, there is only one lodge which was established 12 years ago. This proves that the destination is still in its raw state and not influenced by commercial traveling. Due to its remoteness, you will not have any network service in Khopra Danda. The road transport has not reached till Khopra Danda, so all the items found there are mostly local. Dal Bhat and Tibetan bread are the most recommended meals which are made up of fresh and locally grown ingredients. Autumn (September to November) and Spring (March to May) are considered as the best time to travel to Khopra Danda. The temperature is moderate and the weather is clear during these times allowing you to get the perfect and clear panoramic views of the Himalayan range, walk on meadow of lush green grass and flowers and experience the nature at its best. As Khopra Danda is located inside the Annapurna Conservation Area, so you also need to get ACAP permit from Nepal Tourism Board Office.
