On your arrival in Kathmandu International Airport, one of our representative will pick up you and escort you to the hotel as well as help you to check-in at hotel. After your refreshment, you will be briefed about the next day trip.
Day 2: Cultural tour in Kathmandu (Altitude: 1350/4428 ft. Meal: Breakfast)+
After your delightful breakfast, you will be introduced with guide and takes you to UNESCO Heritages sites of the valley where you will observe living heritage of Medieval Nepal – Witness the biggest Hindu temple of Nepal, Pashupatinath and capture the sacred moments of Hindu death ritual at Aryaghat in Pashupatinath. Stroll the lively streets of Kathmandu Old Market Asan to Kathmandu Durbar Square and visit the home of The Living Goddess Kumari, Nepalese style of Architecture as well as astonishing wooden carving. A short drive from Kathmandu Durbar Square will take you to a hill top stupa called as “Swyambhu” meaning “self -emerge” and belief that the hill emerged impulsively from the great lake that once covered Kathmandu valley.
Day 3: Fly to Lukla, trek to Phakding (Altitude: 2840/ 9372 ft. Phakding: 2610 m/ 8613 ft. Flight: 30 minutes Trek: 3/4 hrs. Meal: BLD)+
On a clear bright morning, you will fly over the snowcapped mountains to one of the most electrifying high altitude airports, Lukla at an altitude 2900 m. Your guides and porters will accompany you here for the trek. Hence, the trekking adventure kicks off. Beginning the trek, you will slide down almost 500 meters to Dudh Koshi River. Then, the trek winds along the trial beside the River towards Phakding. Passing several mani-walls and boulders engraved with Buddhist prayers, you will arrive at Phakding where you will spend your first night of your trek.
Day 4: Trek to Namche (Altitude; 3440 m/11352 ft. Trek: 5/6 hrs. Meal: BLD)+
The trek chases the northern trial up the Dudh Kosi valley to Monjo. At Monjo the trek officially enters Sagarmatha National Park where you have to issue Sagarmatha National Park Permit Card. Continuing the trial along the steep uphill climb while savoring the first glimpse of Everest, you will arrive at the hub of Sherpa- Namche Bazaar.
Day 5: Rest day for acclimatization (Altitude; 3440 m/11352 ft. Meal: BLD)+
It is a day to acclimatize you with higher elevation. On this day, you can go for a short hike to Khumjung, a beautiful settlement of Hospitable Sherpas. OR, you can roam around the Namche that offers Internet Cafes, restaurants, ATMs, and colorful markets. Even, you can enjoy the traditional living of mountain dwellers that is getting complimentary by the awe-inspiring surrounding and high altitude flora/fauna.
Day 6: Trek to Thame (Altitude: 3800 m/12540 ft. Trek: 5/6 hrs. Meal: BLD)+
Today, you will hike up following the oldet trading routes of Tibet, Nepal and India toward Thame, traditional Sherpa village. You will walk on a slightly slope trail crossing a beautiful village Thamo and visiting Khare Gompa. The trail carries beautiful Gompa, Chortains and even it is the land of famous climbers- Tenzing Norkey (first climber to summit Mt. Everest with Sir Edmund Hillary) Apa Sherpa, who climb Mt. Everest for 21 times. Just entering to the village, you can observe an oldest Gompa of Khumbu valley where the festival Mani Rimdhu is held.
Day 7: Trek to Lumde (Altitude: 4380 m/14455 ft. Trek: 5/6 hrs. Meal: BLD)+
Just after your breakfast, you will headed uphill following the Bhote Koshi River towards Marlung. It will be your stopover for Lunch. The trail displays the snowcapped mountains including Mt. Kapsale (5583 m), Khumbi Yul Lha (5761 m), Phuletate (5597 m), Teningbo (5893 m) and many more. Now onwards, you will rarely saw the Sherpa houses, as settlements of Khumbu valley lasts at Thame. You can see some yak caravans coming down from the Tibet heading to the Lumde where you will stay overnight.
Day 8: Trek to Gokyo via Renjo-la Pass (5360 m) (Altitude: Renjo-la Pass: 5360 m/17685 ft. Gokyo: 4790 m/15805 ft. Trek: 6/7 hrs. Meal: BLD)+
It is a day that required you to be more technical, as you are crossing a long route of Renjo-la pass. The trail is smooth and easy just for an hour, then you will need to be very much tricky to climb up the Renjo-la Pass. Your tiresome act will allow you to catch the fascinating views of Everest Himalayan range, Makalu, Tengi Ragi Tau, Rolwaling Range and Gyachung Kang. Your first interesting pass will ends at Gokyo where you will spend you overnight.
Day 9: Gokyo Valley: Acclimatization Day - Optional Hike to 5th Lake: 6-7 hours (Altitude: 5000 m/33000 ft. Trek: 5/6 hrs. Meal: BLD)+
This is a day for proper acclimatization before heading towards Cho La Pass. However, it does not means just to sit in teahouse with books & coffee. Today, you can go for a hike to Gokyo Ri- an ideal vantage point to sight extremely the beautiful vistas of Everest and its closest neighbor; fourth lake and fifth lake that caters the demanding views of Cho-Oyu, Gyachung Kang, Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Makulu.
Day 10: Trek to Tragnang (Altitude: 4700 m/15510 ft. Trek: 4/5 hrs. Meal: BLD)+
It will be relatively a short hike. You trek across the Ngazumpa Glacier to the mountain on the other side of Gokyo Valley. Then, walking along the ridge of the mountain you will enter into Thagnak. The trail is not hard but more adventurous. You should starts your trek earlier than sun get amplified.
Day 11: Trek to Dzongla via Chola Pass (Altitude: Cho-la pass: 5330 m/17589 ft. Dzongla: 4830 m/15939 ft. Trek: 5/6 hrs. Meal: BLD)+
Today will be a long day of your trek and required a bit technical, as you will be crossing another adventurous Chola- pass. The presence of steep glacial section on the east makes this pass a technically demanding walk. Ice covered rocks make day’s trek tricky with slippery attributes. Beginning the trek, you will walk through rocky ravine to the top of the pass, which is marked by fluttering prayer flags and chortens. The pointed Ama Dablam along with Cholatse soars Lobuche East and Baruntse are extremely beautiful vistas from the top. Now traversing across some crevasses we arrive to Dzongla Village.
Day 12: Trek to Gorakshep, hike to Kalapatthar (Altitude: Kalapatthar: 5550 m/18315 ft. Gorakshep: 5140 m/16960 ft. Trek: 6/7 hrs. Meal: BLD)+
Today the trek lasts for maximum 6 hours. First, you will hike up to Lobuche & then will walk along the ridge over Khumbu Glacier before hiking up to the highland seasonal hamlet Gorakshep. The same day, you will hike up along the rock strewn trail to Kalapattar 5545m, which is the vantage point for the dramatic close up view of Everest. The sunset view from Kalapatthar is mind-blowing. Overnight stay will be at Gorekshep’s local lodge.
Day 13: Trek to Everest Base Camp, trek back to Lobuche (Altitude: EBC: 5357m/17678 ft. Lobuche: 4910 m/16203 ft. Trek: 5/6 hrs. Meal: BLD)+
Once the weather permits, you will set out for dramatic walk toward Everest Base Camp. Here come the most beautiful achievement of a lifetime when you reach over the glacier to Everest Base Camp which nestles right below the sparkling Khumbu Icefall, Everest Base Camp 5357m. Explore and experience the extreme elevation and retrace your path back to Lobuche.
Day 14: Trek to Chhukung via Kongma-la pass (Altitude: Kongma-la: 5535 m/18265 ft. Chhukung: 4750 m/15675 ft. Trek: 6/7 hrs. Meal: BLD)+
Last but not the least, another interesting and adventurous pass is awaiting for you and it is the highest pass of this trip. You will starts walking just after breakfast following Khumbu glacier towards east. The trail would be long without any tea shop and water sources, hence, you should carry water bottle and some snacks. On the trail, you can catch the best view of Mt. Kongma Tse (5820 m), Mt. Pokalde (5806 m), Mt. Lhotse (8516 m), Mt. Lhotse Shar (8383 m), Mt. Makalu (8463 m), Mt. Baruntse (7220 m) and Mt. Ama Dablam. You will continue to walk up till you reach at Kongma-la top that is decorated with the cairns and Buddhist flag, then you will step down towards Chukkung where you will stay overnight.
Day 15: Trek to Tengboche (Altitude: 3860 m/12738 ft. Trek: 3/4 hrs. Meal: BLD)+
After crossing high passes and enjoying Imja valley, you will move your journey to the monastery land Tengboche. It will be your short walk and explore the largest monastery of Khumbu from where the Everest Expedition teams receives blessings. The most interesting festival “The Manirimdhu” is held here with great devotion during the month of October/November. From here, you can click a fabulous view of Mt. Ama Dablam and surrounding. Spend overnight at lodge.
Day 16: Trek to Namche (Altitude; 3440 m/11352 ft. Trek: 5/6 hrs. Meal: BLD)+
It will be the steep down following the River, crossing bridge and enjoying the route decorated with birch and rhododendron forest. Your sight will even keep on catching few Himalayan giants including Everest, Kwangde, Tawache, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Kantega and Thamserkhu. Overnight will be refreshing at Namche.
Day 17: Trek to Lukla (Altitude: 2840/ 9372 ft. Trek: 4/5 hrs. Meal: BLD)+
Today is the final day of the trip. You will walk following Dudh Koshi River down to Lukla. You will have a celebration with the involvement of the Guide, Sherpa and Porters as well. They will serves some local’s beer called “CHANG” and enjoy party learning some dance step from traditional Sherpas.
Day 18: Fly to Kathmandu (Altitude: 1350/4428 ft. Flight: 30 minutes Meal: B/D)+
You will board a plane back to Kathmandu. Arriving at Kathmandu you will be transferred to your hotel and rest of the day will be your leisure time. You can go for shopping, message, or rest at Hotel. Evening time, we invite you for farewell dinner at authentic restaurant. You can share your experience, feedback us and give us a chance to make your evening a wonderful time. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 19: Departure (Altitude: 1350/4428 ft. Meal: B)+
Now, it’s a time to say good bye and take you to International Airport for your final departure after your holiday trip in Nepal. Our driver will take you to the airport as per scheduled flight time. If you have further plan to stay and wants some additional activities, please let us know. We shall try to serve you better.

For group, we normally run with minimum 2 person to maximum 10 in our published group departure program. However, there is no barrier for a private trip. We can run a trip for single person and even more than 10 in a group. Normally for a group, we provide 1 main guide, 1 assistance guide along with 1 porter for every 2 trekkers. Moreover, for every additional 2 trekkers, 1 more assistance and a porter will be provided making a team combination as follows:

4-6 PAX: 1 guide, 1 assistance guide and 3 porter

Transportation:
On your arrival in Kathmandu and during city tour, we, Hiking Nepal, will provide you a private vehicle depending on your group size. However, for a drive outside Kathmandu valley, you will be driving by public tourist standard vehicle. If you are uncomfortable in such driving, we shall arrange a private vehicle for you with additional surcharges. Please suggest us in advance.

Best Season in Nepal
For Tour in Nepal, you can travel whole year and every season display different scenarios. However, it is wise to know about climatic season. Normally, 2 season are considered best: Spring and autumn and season is categories in 4 different climatic seasons:
Spring (March, April, May):
During this time, temperature is mildly warm in low lands while moderate in higher altitudes with plenty of opportunities to have astonishing views of the mountains and landscape. At this time, the blossom flowers especially national flower of Nepal – rhododendron decorate the ascending altitudes with its generous color and beauty. Even the High altitude lodges get opened and get occupied with the mountain lovers.
Summer (June, July, and August):
This is also the monsoon season in Nepal. At this time, the weather is hot and wet at times. It rains almost every day with occasional thunderstorms in the evening. The rain spreads the pleasantness around with lush green vegetation. If you are planning to trek in this season, we suggest to choose rain shaded areas of Nepal. Even, if you do not mind rain, and wants to trek in this season, you should compulsorily bring umbrella, pancho, proper waterproof hiking boots, wind proof jackets, baggage wrap, and raincoat as well as required insect repellent. Likewise, the reward of this month is the view of lush green valley captured by small flowers. It is a wonderful time to observe monsoon cycle of agriculture and the traditional life of Nepalese people.
Autumn (September, October and November):
This time is considered to be the best tourist season in Nepal with the end of summer and the winter to set in. The weather is highly pleasant so are the mountain views. The trekking routes get beautified with the presence of trekkers and expedition groups. Meantime, most of the festivals of Nepalese societies are enthusiastically celebrated at this time.
Winter (December, January and February):
During this time, the weather is cool and the sky is clear with occasional snowfalls at higher elevations. At this time, trekking in lower elevation is fine however, at the high altitude, most of the lodges get closed and it will be a bit difficult to cross high altitude passes. This season is good for trekking in lower elevations. The morning and night get extreme cold sometime reaching temperature at (-) minus but the days are warm and pleasant.
Travel Insurance:
While travelling to Nepal, you are requested to have a travel insurance that should cover any comprehensive expenses possible to acquire due to medical issues or accidents. Especially, your travel insurance must protect air ambulance, treatment charges, rescue and evacuation, product cancellation and refundable charges, flight delay and cancellations. We suggest you to bring your travel insurance certificate or send us scan copy and it must be issued from your home land. We do not arrange or sell insurance.
Vaccination
It is better to follow the precaution given by World Health Organization and other international health related institutions that recommend having vaccines before travelling Nepal to prevent from certain fatal illness. If possible, we suggest you to bring your medical certificate however, it is not required to show but for safety. The recommended vaccines are polio, Diphtheria, Tetanus, typhoid, yellow fever, hepatitis A/B, Influenza (Flu), Japanese encephalitis, and Tuberculosis. Meantime, it is better to consult your professional doctor about your travel and he might recommend you properly. You can also take suggestion of local travelers who have travelled Nepal before and know more about the required precautions. Please note that the protection that can be gained from vaccines varies from 50% to almost 100%. So remember that even if you have taken a vaccine you might still get the disease, although you will have greatly reduced your chances of getting ill.

Booking and Payment
If you are satisfied with the proposal, we request you to fill up an online booking form along with 20% payment of total trip cost. Your booking form should be attached with a scan passport copy and a head shot photograph. One member of a team can fill up a booking form however; all other member should be familiar with the terms and condition before confirmation.
The trip cost is always quoted in US$ unless otherwise stated. Booking deposit can be made by Bank Transfer or by Credit Card (Visa or Master Card). 20% of your deposit is the non-refundable amount and compulsory to deposit by every member. You can pay your remaining amount once you arrive in Kathmandu. Meantime, the conditions applied only for Nepal Trip or your travel to other destination- Tibet, Bhutan, India via Kathmandu. Be informed that your deposit by credit card or debit card will deduct extra 4% as Bank service charge.
In case of Tailor Made trips, you may require a higher deposit or full payment during booking, which may differ from deposit rate referred in this clause. In such cases, you will be timely advised on mail by Hiking Nepal for the amount to be paid.
Payment:
Payment is done once you are agreed with the terms and conditions of Hiking Nepal and fill up a Booking form. Then, you should pay 20% of total trip cost and in a group, each member should deposit the mentioned amount. For the payment, you can either Bank transfer or pay by Credit Cards (Visa/MasterCard/AMEX).

Don’t forget to Email the Bank Reference Number or remittance slip on deposit. It can track and claim the fund easier if provided with asked details (reference #/remittance slip or sender credential) and incase Bank misplaces the transfer.
Cancellation Policy
If cancellation is made 30 days prior to trip, 20% of your deposit is non- refundable. In case of deposit of full amount of more than 20%, we alter it for your next trip.
If you leave your trip after starts on whatever the reason be, no refund will be given for any unused portion of the trip.
If company in case failed to provide the trip due to unexpected circumstances like flight cancellation by airlines, heavy snow, landslides and any other disasters that are out of control; choice for tour of similar nature would be provided. Alternatively, your trip could also be postponed for the next time. However, any extra expenses incurred due to such cancellation, would be your own liability.
Likewise, any extra expenses incurred by you due to delay or cancellation of flight or any additional cost should bring upon yourself.
Cancellation Charges are expressed hereafter as a percentage of the total trip cost.
Cancellation 60 days or more before departure: 100% of Total Deposit.
Cancellation 59-21 days before departure: 50% of Total Trip Cost.
Cancellation less than 21 days before departure: 100% of Total Trip Cost.
The Client is strongly advised to take out cancellation insurance at the time of booking.
