Mardi Himal- a best short trek in the Annapurna region.
Mardi Himal trek is best for the trekkers, who wish to visit the traditional villages, incredible scenery, spectacular mountains and alluring views of snow-fed rivers ultimately taking closest possible to the Mt. Fishtail. The name "Mardi" is entitled to the triangularly shaped ridge that form the westerly lower slope of Mt. Macchapuchre- well recalled as “Fishtail” having a shape as like tail of fish. The spectacular sunrise and sunset views during the trek are remarkable.
Best season to go for Mardi Himal Trek
Trekking in Nepal can be achieved throughout the year, this holds true for Mardi Himal Trek as well.
Spring (March, April and May) and Autumn (September, October, November)
The reason behind is clear, sunny & pleasant weather. And most importantly you can enjoy the Himalayan vista than other season. Monsoon (Jun, July, August) – Dark clouds may cover the sky, and heavy rainfalls may obstruct the mountain panorama. But if you are lucky, you will catch the dirt less and most beautiful scenic views after the heavy downpours. You also need to carry your rain gears and be ready for slippery trails.
Winter (December, January, Feburary) –
At this time it can be extreme cold with strong cold winds, icy pathway, snowfall, and temperatures reach minus degrees. If you love this season then it might be the best option for you. Mardi Trek is best for the winter trekking but, you should be equipped with the enough winter gears.
