DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 01: Arrive to Kathmandu & transfer to hotel (Meal: Dinner) 

The first view of Nepal from the window of your plane could be a lifetime memorable view as the clear wide and white range of Himalayas shine straight in-front of your eyes. The ecstatic beauty is so rare that you won’t be able to blink your eyes. Welcome to Nepal; a large heaven within this small planet Earth. On your arrival in Kathmandu International Airport, one of our representative will pick up you and escort you to the hotel as well as help you to check-in at hotel. After your refreshment, you will be briefed about the next day trip. In the evening, we, the Hiking Nepal will offer you a welcome dinner introducing Nepalese cuisine and culture. 

Day 02: Cultural tour in Kathmandu, drive to Nagarkot (Meal: Breakfast) 

After breakfast, you will be introduced with guide and taken to Kathmandu or Basantapur Durbar Square for your first heritage tour. Listed as a cultural World Heritage site by UNESCO, Kathmandu Durbar Square is a cluster of ancient temples, palaces, courtyards and streets that dates back to the 12th and 18th centuries. At the square, you can see Hanumandhoka Palace Museum, Taleju Temple, Kumari Ghar (House of the Living Goddess), and other temples and buildings as old as the city itself. In the afternoon, you will drive to Boudhanath. Explore the biggest Stupa in the world, which resembles like Tibet with colorful outlets encircling the stupa that sell Tibetan products and Buddhist religious materials. Then your next spot will be the Pashupatinath, which is the biggest and the holiest Hindu Shrine of Nepal devoted to Lord Shiva. Witness the Hindu cremation process at the bank of Holy Bagmati River at Pashupatinath Temple Square & capture the images of holy saints. Spending some time here, you will head towards Nagarkot, which is a small hill station famous for viewing sunrise and Himalayan landscapes. Overnight in Nagarkot Hotel. 

Day 03: Early Morning: Sunrise view and drive to Kathmandu via Bhaktapur/Patan for sightseeing tour (Meal: Breakfast/Dinner) 

Wake up Early morning and get ready to capture a spectacular view of snowcapped mountains turning yellowish orange with the strike of sunrays. After breakfast, you will drive to Changunarayan. See the hill top Changunarayan temple, which an oldest temple of Kathmandu valley dating back to 4th century. The temple is of great importance due to its idols and shrines having rich architectural beauty. The temple is adorned by some of the best specimen of stone, wood, and metal craft in the vallely and even stands as the epitome of culture, religion, history and faith of the Kathmandu valley. Then, you will drive to Bhakatpur for the sightseeing tour. Bhaktapur is an antediluvian town which lies in the east corner of the valley. Bhaktapur Durbar Square within the city is anthology of pagoda and Shikhara-fashioned houses surrounded around the 55-window palace made up of bricks and wood. Your camera clicks here so often because of the cultural affluence scattered all around. The stone and bricks paved streets, the wide courtyards of the medieval ages and the finest wood works seeable in the numerous primeval edifices of the surrounding vicinities takes you back to the medieval era at least for a while. Resting for a while, you will drive back to Kathmandu. On the way, you will be taken to the Patan Durbar Square, a destination for connoisseurs of fine arts. Visit the Patan Durbar Square- a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you can visit the Patan Museum (originally a Malla palace), Krishna Temple - a stone temple of Lord Krishna with its 21 spires and bas-relief art depicting scenes from the Mahabharata and Ramayana epics, royal Bath or ‘Tushahity’ and surrounding Hindu and Buddhist temple. At the end of the day’s tour, you will be taken back to the relaxed ambience of your hotel. In the evening, we, Hiking Nepal, will offer you a farewell dinner at authentic restaurant. You can share your experience, feedback us and give us a chance to make your evening a wonderful time. Overnight at Hotel. 

Day 04: Depart Kathmandu (Meal: Breakfast) 

Our tour officer will pick you up from your hotel three hours prior to your departure time. You will be escorted in a private vehicle to the airport for your final departure. Have a safe flight home.
