Manaslu Circuit Trek Accommodation

Manaslu Circuit Trekking is an ideal trek that holds the blend of wonderful cultural heritage, unparalleled Himalayan vistas, pure Himalayan ecosystem, and a great walking experience following the ancient salt trading route of Tibet along the Budi Gandaki River. The trek is best alternative of Annapurna Circuit Trek and convenient for the Tea House Trekkers. Manaslu region is now becoming popular among the trekkers, hence, the area is facilitates with the lodges operated by the local community. Camping is also possible and organized but Tea house trekking is chosen mostly. Tea House is a comfortable and easy accommodation in the Himalayas of Nepal that even cut down the expensive camping expenses. Rooms are basic with shared bathroom in most of the area. Meanwhile, some accommodations are available with attached bathroom and hot shower as well. Twin sharing room with bed cover, pillow and a blanket is provided, hence, better to carry sleeping bag and liner would be convenient. Manaslu Circuit Trek offers the Teahouse facilities in every stop. Details about the lodges are:

Tea House Accommodation in Manaslu Trek

Sotikhola Manaslu Circuit Trek starts from Sotikhola. It is around 7 to 8 hours’ drive from Kathmandu. You can choose the public sharing vehicle or private as per your convenient. In case of private drive, if you leave Kathmandu early morning, then you can skip Sotikhola and drive to Macchakhola as well. At the Sotikhola, we have option of five guest houses. The available teahouses are basic but comfortable. The internet is good with Wi-Fi services. The names of the guesthouses are:

  • Fulbari Guest House
  • Green Valley Guest House
  • Tsum Valley Guest House
  • Satkar Guest House
Maccha Khola In case of stop at Sotikhola, next day stop is Macchakhola. It will take 6 to 7 hours to reach Macchakhola but completely depends on the walking pace of the trekkers. Here, the lodges have the Wi-Fi services and hot shower as well. You can also charge your batteries, phones here but need to pay extra. The lodges available are:
  • Tsum Valley Guest House
  • Larkey Guest House
  • Everest Guest House
  • Hilltop Guest House
Jagat Jagat is the entrance for Manaslu and Tsum Valley Trek. Here, your permit is checked and allow you to enter the restricted area of Manaslu Region. Usually, it takes 6 to 7 hours to reach Jagat from Macchakhola. Lodges here are facilitates with the Wi-Fi and satellite phone services but need to pay extra. The available lodges are:

  • Himalayan Tourist Guest House
  • Manaslu Santi Guest House
  • Rubii Nala Guest House

Deng

As you hike, the lodges are limited with basic facilities. At Deng, few lodges are available but lack the facility of hot shower.

  • New Manaslu Guest House
Namrung Namrung is 6 to 7 hours trekking from Deng. It is a small From Deng; you will trek toward Namrung, a 6 to 7 hours trek for an overnight stay at the teahouses. The teahouses at Namrung offer a hot shower and Wi-Fi services. Here is the list of teahouses at Namrung:

Lho The village of Lho has four teahouses offering sky phones, Wi-Fi, and hot shower services. They are

Sama Gaun                                   You will have to trek for about 4 to 5 hours to reach Sama Gaun, a small settlement at 3530 meters. Samahaun is also the gateway to the Manaslu Base Camp. Some name of the guesthouses available at Samagaun is:

  • Mount Manaslu Guest House
  • Sama Gaun Guest House
  • Peace Heaven Guest House
  • Norling Guest House
  • Nubri Valley Guest House

Samdo After 3 to 4 hours walk from Sama Gaun, you will reach Samdo. Samdo is a small settlement with limited guest houses that provide Wi-Fi service as well.

  • Jambala Guest House
Dharmasala Larke Phedi or Dharmasala, is the last stop before Larke La Pass. Lodges have basic services. Guest houses at Dharmasala are:
  • Peace Palace

Bimthang After 7 to 8 hours walking along the Larke La Pass, you will reach Bimthang. The guesthouses available here also provide the hot shower and Wi-Fi services. Teahouses here are:
  • Ganga Manaslu
  • Mountain Poker Cottage
  • Sushma Guest House
  • Himalayan Guest House
Dharapani Dharapani is the last stop for the trekking. From Dharapani, you can hire a Jeep and drive to Besisahar or shortly trek to Syange and drive to Besisahar. The area offer number of teahouses with verities in services such as room with attached toilet, hot shower, Wi-Fi, etc. You can choose any lodges considering budget and the services you wish.  The lodges are:
  • Gorkhas Inn
  • Three sisters
  • The Seven
  • Manaslu Lodge
  • Kangaroo
Syange Syange is only 3 to 4 hours trekking from Dharapani. Usually, trekkers drive from here rather than stay. In case if you wish to stay, the lodges are available with good services, option for better accommodation, Wi-Fi and hot shower facility as well. List of lodges are:
